I would agree that it may not be as bad as last year in the USA. But what about the rest of the world the countries with less than 30-40% vaccinated, last winter we didnt have these more powerful strains. Yes this winter based on data today without any variable strains built in to model should be less than last winter, but what number of people in ICU’s and dying is acceptable? What is the goal? You can run a forecasts for Sales (sales forecast) their is always a target or goal. I dont think the USA has stated ever publicly what their goal is other than vaccinate goal.
