We go for debt financing when we know working capital is there. He and everyone else did think when everyone is the world is dying and the non sense vaccines were approved why the premium herapeutic wouldn't make it...
Anyone with a business understanding would do the same.
At the same the same time he should have raised equity at higher price. But probably he thought it might affect the stock negatively. I don't know what he thought but we all do mistakes.
He played it by the rules just didn't safeguard his play.
He did it right by debt financing as he was expecting huge revenue and cashflow.
