Thank you Ken. So sorry for your loss.
Think I might be repeating myself but Dr. Jay is so worth it. He was compassionate and helpful when I was trying to get a friend into the same trials. (She backed out in the middle of the process.) He spent so much time and effort trying to make it work and even looked over the docs I prepared to provide to her oncologist.
He definitely gives me hope. Saw that he didn't see trial candidates as ends to data- but as individuals that he is called to help. Realize his role is a bit outside the lane right now but still eagerly wait with each CC to see if he is on the call. I want for him to be a big shot one day - promoting leron on major media - along with the rest of the folks.

What a guy...
So I was impressed by Dr. Jay Lalezari's letter to the FDA -- forthright, understated, accurate and complete (exactly what the FDA has not been in its directions for and response to the Cytodyn trials). He had been helpful too when I hoped in vain to get a friend (now dead) into the breast-cancer trials.
So I wrote him a note, and he wrote back:
Quote:
Thank you Ken.
Hope springs eternal.

Yep. As wonderful as our molecule is, it's because of people like Dr. Jay that hope does in fact spring eternal.
