Not surprising but a disappointing update for those of us on the long hauler waiting list:
Dear Long-haulers:
I hope this email finds that you are recovered from the COVID19 virus and do not need a long-hauler trial, but if not, below is an update on the CytoDyn CV19 long-hauler trial using leronlimab to treat.
The protocol has been submitted to the FDA and CytoDyn is waiting for their response. In typical cases, the protocol may go back and forth several times. What this means is we are hopeful for a start date in later Fall. I know the start date timeline keeps getting pushed out and that feels frustrating. But CytoDyn has been working diligently and with great care developing this protocol so the best data possible can be captured to show the effectiveness of leronlimb to treat long-haulers.
As far as locations, the confirmed sites are in north GA and south FL with other sites to be determined.
I know it is hard to wait when your daily lives have been so negatively impacted. Please continue to be patient. We are all working hard for you and others who may be long-haulers in the future.
If you have recovered or are no longer interested in being a part of the trial, please reply so that I can remove you from the email list. Otherwise, you will continue to receive updates as I have information to pass along.
