there are pretty significant differences between Amazon and UNVC, so we can't go down this road as it is an apples to oranges type of comparison.
Amazon has to report, and report correctly and on time, otherwise it would get crushed by the market. So in its regular filings and investor calls, Amazon does give updates on key strategic sectors/growth areas/etc. and you can believe that its investment in healthcare is something the large institutional investors ask about and are on top of as well. Amazon is not permitted to stay quiet or keep the large institutional investors in the dark.
With UNVC, it's barely a trickle of information. It's more like very cryptic messages or one or two word replies to multi-part questions. And despite lots of hopes (dare I say promises), nothing much happens.
Don't get me wrong, I'm very hopeful this is going to pan out. I'm a long time shareholder (since 2019) with a significant number of shares. Yes, I'm already up quite a bit of money (unrealized gains as I have not sold a share), so I have basis to really complain. But I am expecting, or perhaps better said, I am extremely hopeful, that the uplist to even $4/share will materialize soon. This potential for a significant (multi-generational) windfall is is the reason I invested in the first place.
But as we all have seen in the last several days, there is a considerable amount of frustration and disappointment to say the least. There has to be communication. There also has to be an acknowledgement that while mistakes happen (the f'ing lawyer; the accountants), ultimately the CEO is accountable. We are fast approaching the end of Q3 - dose anyone really think the next set of filings will go through without any issues at all? Likely we are right back here again - based on the past performance.
I hope the CEO gets serious - hires and works with qualified people to do their jobs correctly and on time. He needs to stop the pussyfooting around on twitter, LinkedIn and other outlets and needs to be open, direct and complete in his communications.
