I have most of the groupthink blocked so I second your call that we don't have 40% enrollment. They wouldn't pre-enroll people not knowing when the drug would be available, they have to screen each potentially eligible patient to make sure they fit the criteria approved in the IND and Brazil's numbers were lower than some of the other places where COVID is ramping up and is not the storm it once was...but realistic expectations hasn't been the theme of the day around here as much. Its okay to dream big, but be prepared to be disappointed because CYDY does move fast for a small biotech...but anyone that has to deal with any kind of regulatory agency will have times where there are things they just can't control.
How long did it take just to get the drug through customs? NP was hoping to start these trials beginning of July and it ended up being beginning of September. NP's fault? Nope, but any third party interaction is an x factor that can't be ignored. My opinion anyways. Who's to say we are the only trial going on in Brazil? If there is a braziiian drug company doing trials ANVISA may say they get first dibs on eligible patients. We don't know.
