Food for thought
Severe trial had first jab on 9/9. 35 sites recruiting. 40% interim number was 245 patients. We could be at interim jab level easily. It would only take 20 patients per day over the 35 sites. (less than 1 patient per day per site) to be at 40% enrollment already. Thats the rate we were getting with CD12 for so long. I would assume Einstein is moving much faster than our first portion CD12 efforts. They wouldnt call themselves Einstein if they were dummies.
So we could easily be in the 28day treatment window for interim enrollment now. Which would mean preliminary data in say 50 days from now realistically. So somewhere around 2nd week of November for real publishable data. Plus all the time to convert from Portuguese to English. So maybe end of November the way things go.
If Einstein is really a powerful bunch and enrolling at the same clip of 20p/day we would essentially be filled by 10/9. If enrollment is only 1p/site/day we would be fully enrolled by this Sunday. At which point we will be having the discussion about whether we really even want to look at interim. But i assume since the peek is built into the study there is no penalty and we can avoid all those various arguments.
