FINRA NAME CHANGE AND PRS. To satisfy the curio
Post# of 85504
To satisfy the curiosity I went ahead and inquired. I don't know if this clarifies things since Dr. Dalton has not mentioned anything publicly.
According to Finra; A submission to change a name must be completed with the required documents. The process can take 3 weeks or longer. I didn't ask and it wasn't specified what documents.
Since we don't know when and if Dr. Dalton submitted the doc's we don't know where we are in the timeline or process. - so that's a guess.
Being current or not has no baring on when the company submits application for name change. Could have done it weeks before or not at all..- another guess.
The company can release a PR at their discretion without penalty from Finra whether the name change has occured or not.
note: we did receive a pr recently in mid August. Can more happen I'm sure they can.
One thing is clear...the name change to conglomerate by Finra has no baring on whether UNVC INC. can decide to release PR's or not. And no penalty will be given since the company is current status.
Another guess based on this: Since we are waiting on "current status" I'll assume we will get another PR. irrespective of the name change.
Could both the name change and PR. happen together? possibly...but the name change timeline isn't up to the CEO. We don't know where we stand with this...
So, to conclude.
PR can happen anytime along with the name change or without because we don't know where we stand.
