There are many variables that would push the number lower and those that have these concerns should have no qualms as to providing a low number. There is no right or wrong answer. I gave reasons for my number which seems reasonable to me but which I realize will be a pure joke to others holding different views.
The one part of your post I strongly disagree with is comparing what happened in the other trial to what could happen in ours. They had no Phase II data to show the efficacy of their product. It still has not been shown NOT to work, but it didn't work good enough to warrant breakthrough therapy treatment and thus will take years longer to get tested and approved. Our product research, pre-clinical tests and data, the way our protocol was written, the quality of our developer and the BOD of elite oncologists assisting him in giving added direction to required tests prior to clinical trials IMO makes our case so much more thorough and thus primed for success FAR more than any other drug being put into trials today. Again, others may find total fault with this view but it is my belief.
I don't judge high enders as drinking koolaid nor do I judge low enders as being devil spawn (LOL). To me, all views are valid until proven otherwise.
Shoot a honest evaluation as to your belief in a PM. No names will ever be revealed. This is not to prove right or wrong, just to get a feeling of the range of beliefs held by those invested.
