Yes, they did. It wasn't fast -- my peers in the US were vaccinated before I was -- but the nation has few anti-vakkers. Of course you can see most of them at the City Hall, afternoons, beating metal pots and pans (literally), wearing their tin hats (figuratively). But after all it's a country where people wait at crosswalks for the green man in the traffic light before crossing the street. There was no onslaught of articles about the few people who got blood clots from a vakk. Nobody thinks the govt is trying to inject silicon chips into our bodies.

On the other hand, you can't walk into the country and be entitled or allowed to get a shot. The medical system is free, but it's reserved for the people who live here.
