As we look forward into the path towards the approval of Brilacidin I believe it's important to also have a realistic perspective regarding the many challenges that we might face within the approval process. It's important to be aware of the environment that we are dealing with and this podcast I came across was very informative. Many of you probably already know this and maybe have already seen this podcast but if not I think everyone invested in Biotech at this time should be aware of these issues.... so please take a few min to watch this podcast... BIG PHARMA'S Ties To The FDA Should Be Questioned

I don't believe in conspiracy theories but I thought that this was a very good somewhat balanced and informative podcast uncovering the many huge current conflicts of interest within the FDA and BP regarding FDA funding, drug approval history, the approval process ie. clinical trails design favoring drug approval, advisory Committee conflicts of interest and in return possibly why some drugs because of lack of funding, support etc,,are not approved. Basically we have a regulatory body funded by the same company's that the regulatory body is tasked to regulate....creating huge conflicts of interest on every level of the drug approval process.
It also addressed how the FDA & CDC during the Covid Pandemic has not been able to work as efficiently and effectively as it could have during a pandemic possibly costing many lives. Also near the en at 9:15min mark they touched on a past issue... in that there were drugs ie therapeutics for HIV in the past that were given an EUA but even after 20 years were not ever approved that could've saved lives.
Please understand that I am not sharing this post in an effort to bring about discussions and debates regarding the FDA because these are issues that we realistically don't have control over and I do not want to waste time discussing and debating these issues with this regard but only to make sure we are aware of them....Regardless I am hoping and praying everyday that the trail will be incredibly successful as possible because I know Brilacidin can put an end to this pandemic and possibly all others in the future... BUT I also am trying to be realistic with regards to the many challenges that we might face within the approval process especially as I continue to review and become aware of the many road blocks and challenges other companies are currently facing during their path towards EUA's and drug approvals. So it's something to watch out for and pray that we can and will overcome these challenges because of our incredible unquestionable efficiency and safety history.
I hope everyone has a blessed weekend as we anxiously await for results of the trail that can change the future of medicine as we know it today.
