Seems like you had a post once before about the timing of OTC companies PR's but I don't recall why the 8-8:30 timing is important.
Correct. I even wrote CytoDyn about it and the next PR they dropped was at 8:00am EST. Thought maybe they listened, but now it just seems like a coincidence.
Most OTC/Small Cap traders subscribe to news services, and the majority of those traders get to their computers an hour or two before the opening bell. As an OTC company, you want to drop your PR so that it hits news services when traders can see it. When they're dropped at 6:00am EST, or even worse in the evening when no one is paying attention, the PRs don't even get picked up by most news services.
Doesn't matter for long-term investors, but as a PR Dept., you want to maximize any exposure you can get. The idea is to turn some traders into long-term investors, like what happened with me. It may be a small thing in the overall picture, but CYDY's PR Dept. needs to learn how to play the game. It's just as easy to drop a PR at the optimum time as it is to drop one in the middle of the night when no one is watching.
