Completely agree with your view. What my intent was to peel back the onion on potential reasons for delays in LL approval or EUA.
Possible BIg Pharma doing what it can to stop approval, or:
Government is fearful that if LL is approved, our population would not be motivated to get inoculated, or:
Both
I would expect the first reason. Makes sense BP don’t like competition, especially if the product is better.
The second reason is a bit more complex, and risky if true. People are dying for lack of an effective treatment. Will vaxing stop that? (Rhetorical)
If an approved LL saved patients from death, would people be less inclined to get vaxed, re-vaxed,, etc?
I tend to think those in high government think anything that gets in the way of their 100% commitment to vaccines is a problem so we should not be surprised to be getting slow walked by FDA (USA).
All IMO of course.
