The claim was not that a withheld vote does not hurt management it was that it is not the same as casting a positive vote for 13d
If you vote for 13d then you take a vote away from NP and add a vote to 13 d
If you withhold a vote from NP, he will get one less vote but 13d will not get one more vote.
I do understand that the number of votes cast is decreased but the other Cydy directors would still get positive votes - I would simply lose my ability to vote for the final director if NP down not deliver the BLA or enough good news to restore the stock price to at least $3.75.
If a person commits three times to deliver a completed BLA over two years knowing full well what else is on the company’s plate and missing all three dates by a wide margin then they can’t earn my vote.
This BLA can still be done - there is a month left and they have the results from the discussion with the FDA on the dose justification report which they also had recently when the kept the date on Oct 15th.
I really enjoy the transparency of NP but there also needs to be responsibility for repeatably missing communicated due dates on crucial deliverables that the company sets after discussion with regulatory agencies - especially when they say they have all they need to respond.
I still am hopeful that at least one of my two targets for NP can be achieved before votes need to be cast.
