Microsoft buys Clipchamp to fix Windows’ lackluster video tools

It appears Microsoft is trying to buy their way out of a problem
For all the BWers that say it's easy to build these tools, you need to answer one question...
If it's so easy, why didn't Microsoft, a 2+ trillion dollar software company build a browser based video editing tool, eh?
This can be a 'nice' complement to Verb interactive video
Could be a great one-two punch for Microsoft

Also , Google is a big partner for Clipchamp so I wonder how this will play out with Google now that Microsoft owns them. You know they compete in most things.
