U.S. stock futures track global markets south MAD

MADRID (MarketWatch) — U.S. stock-market futures tracked Europe and Asian markets lower Monday, as investors cast a nervous eye towards the European Union union summit at the end of the week.
David Morrison, senior market strategist at GFT Markets, said traders are in a “less forgiving mood” as the last few trading days ahead of the half-year mark approach.
“This means that the second-quarter earnings season is fast approaching, and investors will be mindful of the U.S. Federal Reserve’s downgrade to its outlook for growth and employment just last week,” said Morrison.
“Equity markets have had a decent rally since the beginning of the month, and the idea of locking in some profit now ahead of the summer is likely to appeal,” he said. http://www.marketwatch.com/story/us-stock-fut...2012-06-25
