I will also partially agree with Sean.
Experience is a great teacher, period. And the inexperienced tend to enjoy the experience more.
As for the learning curve, I believe there is room for both, but if you can find someone experienced, open-minded, eager, ambitious & loyal, please hire them.. ( sounds like Recknor)
