LocWolf, my brother and I went on a primitive camping vacation, postponed for a year due to Covid. We headed up to Maine into the Bar Harbor, Bass Harbor area and went touring through Acadia Park, which required a gate pass. My brother is 66 and they had a senior pass good all over the country, so I talked him into buying one. We drove the 27 mile loop and decided to reenter for one more run. We came up to the gate, he presented his pass, which he had to sign when he first bought it. The woman at the gate requested to see proof of his signature via his drivers license. I was in the passenger seat. I leaned over and yelled towards the woman, you have to show signature verification to enter a federal park, but you don't need it to vote. We all laughed.
