Some people- it is several different targets. I have an initial target for recovering my investment.  Another for taking some profits off the table. After that, there will be an evaluation of where to go next.  May just let the shares accumulate for my kids. A large portion of my shares are in a Roth IRA that has no requirement to take distributions. Micosoft was a good investment for years and years. Wal Mart, IBM, Proctor and Gamble, Heinz-a few companies that are just cash machines-year in,year out. Are we there yet? Of course not.  Can we be?  IMO, yes.  My best to you, Jim
