Good morning Lumberg. I hope you feel better soon, and are not in too much pain.
Do you remember a poster who went by Mspzoom who was actually Kurt who claimed he was a big time accountant for a major audit and accounting firm? Mspzoom set up the conference calls using the facilities at work, and he recorded every single word. William made it clear that no recordings should be made, but Kurt did it anyway because he claimed he could not be in on the calls at he time they were made. Notes were taken on each of these calls as well, along with bullet points. Then, you have all the witnesses who listened or asked questions on these calls. So, in my opinion, far more is available than people might think if the stories were in fact true. However, that is the rub. Were the stories true? Or, were the stories just fabrications to lure more investor in to buy more and hold on longer? All the while, the big pumpers and moderators snaked out the back door, and at a profit. Remember the "game" PLUTUS or jkm1 or Keith who liked to be called Jim chided people about whenever anyone complained that they lost all their money on MMTE?
You might ask me how I could know all this? The answer is easy. If you remember, I was in MMTE forever. I was a moderator on IFlub and I was one of the two original members of the Google group who started that whole research board. So, I knew all the people involved, and we did checks on every single member so we knew something of the quality of each and every member. And, we further monitored posts made by each and every member so we knew if we could trust our research would stay on that board.
Furthermore, since I had cultivated a long term relationship with William, I was asked to schedule the phone conference calls. This duty of scheduling phone conferences was shared between myself and DiiDii, who ended up taking over this duty herself. However, I continued to help in the background, by collecting questions that I knew people wanted answered and submitting them in advance so that every point would be covered adequately during the conference. In addition, I would phone William (and Brian) ahead of each conference to be certain they were prepared for all questions, and typically they would call me after the conference calls (sometimes more than once) to answer any questions if they were not covered completely in the time allowed. So, you could say I had an intimate knowledge of what went on, and of who was involved.
During the time I was the moderator for the Google research group, I can tell you that no detailed and/or "inside" information was ever conveyed to our group. Instead, we received assurance that things were progressing, and hints of things we might wish to look at or research further. We could judge from the tone of the comments how optimistic William and Brian were, and we could judge how confident they were from the answers we received. Occasionally, William would mention that a press release would be issued very soon, and might even mention the week we could look for it, but no guarantees would be made and no exact details would be given. It might be important to note that William was not allowed to post on our research board while I was there, because we felt this might be a conflict of interest. We also were very aware that William might influence and compromise our research group if he was directly involved.
You must understand, we started this group so we could determine for ourselves whether MMTE was worthwhile to continue holding or to even buy more.
Thus, I questioned these stories of private and secret meetings and super secret phone conferences from the moment I seen them when I returned to the boards after a prolonged period of caring for my ill wife. The stories and the detailed information of the exact details investors could expect just did not make any sense to me, and I cautioned all those who were posting such things. Of course, I was attacked and accused of trying to get cheap shares and of having some agenda, and my posts were removed. Instead, I seen the danger such stories presented for all involved and all who listened. And, that danger eventually proved to be all too true.
