It wasn't your responsibility to protect every member of this board from seeing posts that you felt could influence their little minds. The people who read this board have minds of their own, and I would prefer we not filter out any posts that we, as mods, deem unsupportive and not inline with our personal opinions.
Nobody has ever PM'd me complaining they want to "softbash and bash". That's ridiculously absurd.
What you refer to as bickering back and forth is what I would call debating someone with an opposing opinion. People who have an opinion that's not inline with a mod shouldn't expect to have their posts conveniently removed because it may be critical against management. I support our current management but I'm not going to delete anyone's post for not goose-stepping with them (sorry Goosebumps, nothing personal).
From your perspective, you see anything that's not 100% positive as "softbashing" and quickly remove it. I would prefer to let people speak, and if they're here to promote the hostile takeover, their posts will be removed. I've said this many times that the 13D supporters have IHub (which is starting to look like Afghanistan) and Closet's private 13D board, so the main board continues to be the only safe zone for longs, like myself, who can post without having to defend ourselves against the 13Ders.
And this is why you are no longer a mod. Restricting everyone from mentioning "13D" only allows the 13D gang to control the narrative. What do we gain by letting them do all of the talking while we remain silent on the sidelines. Some of us are not afraid to debate the 13Ders because it allows us to demonstrate how destructive they are along with the lies and flaws in their messaging. That doesn't mean they now have an additional platform for their 13D propaganda. This board will NEVER become another 13D billboard.
