We go back and forth with the discussions of NP's prognostications versus actual results and some find it disqualifying and some accept it as his style. If we had already gotten that first approval and were generating income that insured the upcoming trials for further indications was assured, the noise level would be barely noticeable. We are a "pre-revenue", "mid-trial" bio tech company. We need serious people making serious efforts to design, enroll, conduct, and then submit results for approvals. We should all agree on that much.
We also NEED the funding to do all the work of designing, enrolling, conducting, and then correlating the results for submission to get approvals. Having someone who truly believes in the science and can win over the confidence of investors to fund very high risk trials and the associated plant overhead is as much a necessity as all the other work involved.
Where will 13d's go for funding if they won over enough of us? Would we get a solicitation letter? Would any of them be able to keep things moving forward without selling us out on the cheap? Absent something concrete and definitive, we cannot let them near the controls of our company!
