Disappointing email today regarding long hauler trial timeframe. I am on the waiting list:
You are receiving this email as you reached out at some point with interest in participating in a clinical trial sponsored by CytoDyn using leronlimab to help with COVID19 long-hauler symptoms.
If your symptoms have improved and you no longer need or want to participate, please reply to this email and you will be removed from receiving future emails.
For those still seeking to participate. As you have surmised the trial did not start in August. A more realistic timeline is Sept/Oct timeframe. The trial is in the phase of submission to the FDA and their recommendations back.
Locations are still being determined. Please know that if your location does not run this trial, the most important thing is the product is shown to improve health so the FDA will give the product the approval needed. And therefore the product will be available to all.
When I have further information to share, those still wanting/needing to participate in the trial will receive another update.
