There are so many factors involved, that's not something you can make a blanket statement on. So I have no idea.. these current vaccines were ostensibly based off wild type Wuhan from over a year ago now. Who is asking? Do they have other risk factors.. diabetes, obesity, asthma, etc?
If someone had covid previously and didn't require any oxygen or hospitalization, they may be fine through this winter. If they had severe or lingering issues, or there's other comorbidities, I would consider a single dose of something, at least.
