I'm going to respond even though this wasn't addressed to me. The answer is "yes", and the reason I say this is because my better half is an RN and got covid in Mar, 2020 because she was a first responder who got covid before she was given her PPE. Studies have shown that people who got covid and were later vaccinated have a pool of antibodies that are longer lasting than those who just got the vaccine. She and her coworkers who also caught covid have all been vaccinated after the required waiting period (keep in mind they're working with covid patients).

P.S. My response is to a specific question that I interpreted to mean "does someone who had covid receive protection using a vaccine after they've already had covid". I am not taking a position one way or another as to whether someone should or should not get vaccinated, but merely saying the vaccines will provide additional protection after having covid.
