As to the content of what you said, inferring the past will be repeated over and over, I offer you examples of why you are so wrong in that foul game.
First, a movie reference, to Groundhog's Day, where Murray is stuck in a time loop, and eventually comes to spend each day learning things, like piano, and doing so actually changes him because realizes that the internal changes are what make him the person Andie wants to be with, not the showy smartass.
The second example say the same thing from a poet's perspective:
I did then what I knew how to do. Now that I know better, I do better.

Third, you can't see that this is always what Squires is doing, trying, learning and getting better. You can't see it because you've been tricked by the false argument that the "facts" of missed reports are some collossal failure. Do you ever look at all this from Squires perspective, and the big, screaming fact that the company is still alive, when with Sri or anyone else it would probably have died years ago? Fact.
