IFlub can look at private messages, but they do seem to do much about them because such messages are only between two people, and not the entire world.  On Friday's, between 4:00 and 5:00 Eastern we can use free private messaging, and this is the best way to get word out to good people we know.  If we know others who might be interested in a new investment with the risks involved, one can always make a suggestion.  Also, Investors Hangout has a number of general purpose boards where posts can be made to a wider audience.  Investors Hangout is growing because of discontent with what is and has gone on at IFlub.  So, I would expect this to grow.
