Definitely agree with you on points 1 & 2. When I pointed out that it seemed to me Fife was dumping shares today, I wasn't faulting him for it. The deal is the deal, he can sell whenever he wants to for whatever reason he has.
As for point 2, definitely. There are easier ways for shorts to make money than to pay borrow costs on a ticker that might go down a few cents a week. Not enough meat on the bone to justify the expenses, not to mention potential looming catalysts.
