"Why would Squires enter into a deal that he had no intention of completing in the first instance"Facing bankruptcy he had no choice and still may have to complete thePasaca deal as K&Lwin/settlement is far from a guarantee.
This would be disastrous for QTM because it would mean that Squires could not be trusted at a time when he states that QTM cannot go forward without a partner with money. If there is a sizeable K&L win/settlement he would have the means to continue growing QMC alone
The rest of your supposition would attest to Squires extreme selfishness, not allowing the company to stay alive, possibly without him, even though he would probably be a retired multimillionaire, or may still have some role in the day to day operations and still be rich. This is a matter of interpretation isn't it. you see it that way while another my see it as a man you is trying to protect his long loyal shareholders from a heartless corporation who only concern is the bottom line. Who will most likely do a reverse split, then issue new shares and greatly dilute those loyal long shareholders like yourself..
You are describing all of the character traits of a crook. Here I thought I was describing the character of a man who doesn't want to lose his dream and is trying to protect his friends that followed it.Todate in QMC history not one reverse split has been enacted, do you really believe that `streak will continue if Pasaca gains control?
