That's funny. Give those high roller parrots

Give those high roller parrots a cracker for repeating the same thing over and over again on every stock
Well, just when you think it doesn't get any more interesting.
Usually you wouldn't engage a firm like Truist Securities to do a Solofire type/size acquisition
Probably not even a Sound Concept type/size deal
If you go to their website and filter on Mergers & Acquisitions they have some very large deals out there
https://www.truistsecurities.com/transactions
Many in the $100M-$1B range. Some even higher.
Did see this smaller one for $36M from Pinnacle Financial Corporation. Saw another one for about $18M before I got tired of clicking and I went back 4 years.
Now some of the deals were where the company was getting sold or some assets. Others where the company was buying another company or some assets.
There were also many deals that were undisclosed. Likely because the client didn't want to let it be known, especially if they are a private company.
Possible the smaller deals don't get disclosed
I would gather you would spend the money on Truist Securities for a significant and possibly a complex deal. At the very least, they would be able to do the DD and tell you what is a fair price. Maybe help with the negotiations.
The recent ATM of up to $18M likely plays a role since that was just Friday. Maybe not to finance the deal, but could be. Also could be insurance money to show the other party Verb can raise cash at any time on short notice. Kind of like a HELOC. Just because you get a HELOC, doesn't mean you are going to add an addition or use it.
From a timing standpoint, ideally you'd get it done before end of September so you could start recognizing the revenue so it would show up in Q4. Although if it's a large deal, it could take more than 30 days to close so Q4.
So many possibilities. Wouldn't that be a hoot if Verb got bought out. Shorts would sh__ their pants. Kind of risky now at this point to short, but whatever floats one's boat.
Wonder if it has anything to do with armed services and government institutions?
