This is a very common problem with millions of retail investors, especially in this country where population has been brainwashed likely more than anywhere else. They believe that the primary concern of health agencies in their countries is to keep people healthy. It's psychologically hard if not impossible for the masses to admit even in the face of irrefutable facts and experience that the primary concern of these as well as any other state agencies is to defend and strengthen the existing system of power=money/money=power. Does it really make any difference for this system in the Philippines whether 100K or a million of Filipinos die in the pandemic? It's only when a pandemic begins to present the existential threat to the national system of power internally and internationally that business as usual might be temporarily put aside and extraordinary decisions made. Like allowing a microscopic biotech company with 45 thousand middle-class investors to grab the billions of dollars which in the eyes of the system rightfully belong to Big Pharma and its systemic partners. From this systemic point of view, 650K dead Americans are peanuts in their eyes and they prove it to us each and every day.
