Would appreciate you clearing up this question I have regarding trial results:
Does the site send in the data to the CRO as each patient is finished or do they store up all the cases and send them in when the trial is declared as completed?
If they send in data as each trial participant finishes their 30 day post treatment phone call then they would have had 50% cases done by July 7th. They would have had quite a bit more done a week later and only a handful to go by the last week of July.
Also, if each site sends in data as patient is finished one would think errors in filling out the data form would appear quite early on and the site would be up to speed on all later trial patients so by the near end of the trial all patient data input would have no errors or reconciliations to go over.
Anything you can offer would be appreciated.
