"Beige fat" may be protective against Alzheimer's. An interesting article -- which supports my theory that the low-fat diets (which lead to the body producing more of the bad white bad) are a big reason why we have an Alzheimer's epidemic now.

Remember, that stupid study that led everyone to stop eating fats, on the theory that all fats create bad cholesterol levels -- has been completely discredited. Data was fudged.
Make sure you are getting plenty of good fats like olive, avocado, and coconut oil. Your brain cells can use the good fats for energy.
