Aimee and Megan, both native Texans, former Baylor University graduates and best friends, dreamed of creating a denim line for years. Hip Chixs is a brand of premium denim that illustrates what women want in a pair of threads – sleek, soft, comfortable and stylish denim that gives girls the ability to express themselves through their sexy personality. Every part of the jean is hand-picked by Aimee and Megan from the fabric, washes, logo and label package, to red rivets, Italian hardware, pocket slogan and style names... just to name a few! Both living in Dallas, Aimee has always been inspired by the world of denim. A woman about town, Aimee loves to sport the latest in fashion – particularly jeans. She has a huge denim collection, but wanted to start her own line because she's always been in search of the perfect pair. An avid runner, Aimee knows the need for comfortable clothing, whether she's circling White Rock Lake in the morning or going out with friends at night. Hip Chixs, like Aimee, is all about style and comfort. She also has a great passion for animals – she owns two rescue dogs and is involved in several Dallas rescue organizations. Aimee's sexy, gregarious and energetic nature is evident in the creation of this brand's personality. Megan, whose career stems in the fashion design and photography stylist world, knows a thing or two about the latest trends. Her achievements and background set her up to bring so much with Hip Chixs – she's designed, sat through fittings, created patterns, sewn, forecasted, worked hands on with textiles and colors, and has worked in the fashion industry for more than 10 years. Her closet holds endless pairs of shoes, scarves, mascara and red lipstick – her other fashion passions. And, while Megan loves an eclectic, chic look with lots of jewelry, she can constantly be found in her favorite jeans, a tank top and a great necklace - as that tends to be the best garb when you have a two tots (ages two and five).
