I looked at it-33 pages-confirms what I thought -that this may be the most difficult permit they will have to process-which is why they hire a quality professional engineering etc firm to process it. Besides the stricter red tape of recent years, a desert state works harder to preserve the quality of the aquifer. Unlike most other permits,which are processed in a business friendly environment,where the jurisdiction bends over backwards to facilitate permits in the stiff competition for tax base and jobs.
Do you have any idea how long Arizona has been charging these fees in an apparent attempt to make the water dept self supporting?
