Hylander, I hear you. Your wife might want to at least wait for Novovax to come out and get that one. I think they are going to get emergency use authorization in October or November. This is more of a "normal" vaccine - they inject the spike protein instead of injecting mRNA (Moderna and Phizer) or a virus (J&J).
Better yet, go to the website Frontline Critical Care Covid Alliance, and read their protocols for prevention, early Covid, and in-hospital care. The in-hospital protocols that these doctors developed have been adapted by physician groups treating covid patients. You and your wife would just follow the one for prevention.
