Doesn't seem to be "false" based on your reply. You are "heavily invested...in large part because I want to help..." but what is the smaller part of why you are invested? I am going to guess it is ROI. Yes, yes...we ALL like the great stories of lives being saved, but NO ONE here will say "Oh, well, it's all cool, at least I tried to help humanity along the way even if it didn't work" if they lose all of their money. Again, this is an investment, not a charity and there is NOTHING wrong with that.
