Please allow me to add one more area of concern. What is it that has changed that allows Delta to sicken young adults and children that underlying original stage covid did not.... Is it speed and load of transmission, a potent change in the dna structure that allows infectious spores to manage healthy cells or in the ability to become more durable in the maintaining influence and physical attachment to healthy cells......
Not to criticize the scientists but with dna analysis and fingering of the dna sequences that have changed with delta, this should not be too difficult....
Also, no plan in place to restrict spread of other mutant strains from other countries into US... I think stricter travel restrictions are needed.
