It's simply not true to claim that CYDY's aggressive action in fighting back was to be expected. Many companies would not have done that. The business model of some law firms is to file phony "shareholder" suits which evaporate when the company pays the lawyers something ("greenmail" ) but very few companies fight back. Likewise with this proxy, CYDY has fought back aggressively, instead of just saying "oh well, the shareholders won't vote for these guys."
And, if people shouldn't be congratulated for doing their jobs well, why do military organizations give medals? Why do businesses give bonuses? Why do kids get grades in school -- after all, isn't it every kid's job to learn, so why should someone be congratulated for learning?
What a silly premise, to say that people shouldn't offer congratulations.
