Ultraviolet light is thought to harm the filtration capability of some N95 masks. If you have several, putting each in quarantine in paper bags for 4 days after use should be sufficient for any virus to become inactive.
I also suggest that people have paper bags in their cars, so that when you remove the mask, it can be put in quarantine. If you just put it on your seat, you risk having the car's ventilation system distribute virus.
