Most assuredly not. A prophylactic would keep the viral load down so low that there would be no effect on the body before the virus was killed off by the immune system. There are two pathways that I figured out that may slow down but not stop viral replication. The two are downregulation of neuropilon-1 and interruption of viral replication by disruption of the PI3K/AKT/mTORc1 pathway/
