1. Many are on the Keto or comparable diets. meat and dairy, fish, chicken and beef are a big part of those diets. It helps lose weight and great for diabetics. I am type 2 diabetic. i check my blood sugar daily. I read how healthy coconut milk is. I bought some at Costco and had about 12 ounces that day. The next morning my blood sugar was definitely higher than normal.
2. Much of plant based is on grains and even GMO grains, even though GMO is being phases out. Grains have been tied to many diseases, many tied to obesity and others like Celiac disease. Fun video about how grains are bad>>>
