I will like to thank everyone who send a good wishes for my son and my family , we very much appreciate that..
So my son is very sick , he went very fast into immune stage of this disease .
In my family we mostly medical profession so we all vacc.
My son , a dentist , had his second Moderna end of January.
My niece had J&J in May , just had covid 12 days ago , and her 3 1/2 child developed 6 days after her , both very good now.
Not with my son , so he went to immune stage of the disease. He was on all the medicine and vitamins possible at home . I spoke yesterday with a doctor in Orlando who is using a lot of Ivermectn with a very good results.
He told me that with Delta , patient must be on double dose with ivermectine he noticed , and then only patients responding.
My son was on 0.20 mg per kg once a day for 5 days , and he said with Delta he just started to use 0.40 mg /kg per day for 5 days.
Anyhow my son was/is very sick , so 3 days ago ambulance took him to the hospital. There were no beds so even in ER they put him with some other patients on small metal chairs to sit , no IV fluid , no glass of water to drink , with his oxygen dropping at moments to 74%.
After 8 hrs of sitting he texted his wife to take him home , and again refused to go to hospital. Yesterday in AM his oxygen drop to 74-80 and only then he said OK.
So I called few hospitals I think are very good , I evaluated where he be the best , and he was admitted there.
Room like in Ritz Carlton , with gorgeous view.
Most important no waiting , immediate help.
They started IV dexamethasone and IV antibiotics. also order remdesivir.
I told my son that there is no reason for this toxic drug as it will not help him at all.
So last night doctor , infectious disease call me from my son room , said that my son is to sick to wait for leronlimab even few days , and I
agreed , we need to give him something , so after talking about all approved drugs we decided on tocilizumab , hoping that he will not develop serious infection since both dexamethasone and tocilizumab are immunosuppressive drugs.
Doctor promised me to call Dr Kelly.
I send an e-mail few days ago to Dr NP telling him about my son and what to do, few minutes later Dr Kelly called me.
So he told me it will not be possible to get leronlimab now since after being approve in Brazil they stopped for now EIND.
Of course I was insisting that they must help my son , so Dr Kelly said , tell his doctor to call me.
In couple of hrs Dr NP also send me an e-mail that he was busy sooner , but asked dr Kelly to call me , and he wished my son the best.
I tried to call Dr Reddy for 3 days , he was organizing the OLE . At least in Florida. But no one pick up the phone and no one called me back..So I think maybe they stopped that too.
We will see how he is doing after the tocilizumab , and hopefully hospital will help with Right To Try to get leronlimab if needed , but all this is not very easy , and this is THE ONLY way to do it now....
Right to Try ..
So the only hope in the future is for leronlimab to be approve soon for something..
Sorry for this long e-mail , but I wanted you to understand that all this is not very easy , and shame on Dr Fauci and FDA , they didn't approve one proper drug during this pandemic imo , and I hope that history will judge them properly.
