Many shareholders are very fearful of Big Pharma sabotaging the efforts of Cytodyn to get Leronlimab approved for the long list of morbidities that LL can treat.
They think that the long arm of BP might sabotage the Brazil trials or the cancer trials or the NASH trials.
It is true that Cytodyn and LL are a threat to many of BPs crown jewels and the Drug Industry as a whole. But, as some BPs may wish to hurt Cytodyn, others may come to Cytodyn's aid to curry favor with Cytodyn in order to get a piece of Cytodyn's action.
In the drug industry it is true, to a greater or lesser extent, that each is at war with all. If one BP caught another BP trying to mess up Cytodyn, they would almost inevitably try to turn that knowledge to their advantage, not just let it continue.
A smart BP would try to protect Cytodyn from a rival and get a sweet deal with Cytodyn for an indication or two in a partnership. Plus get the cheater in trouble with the regulatory agencies. A big fat fine for the cheater would seem to be an incentive and a deterent to the players in the BP game.
Some people are observing that Cytodyn seems to be performing in a wiser fashion these days. I think they have found some friends. Hopefully some of those friends have some loose change that they can help Cytodyn out with as well. Samsung has certainly been friendly.
