Is there a good reason why I'm finding posts a yea

Is there a good reason why I'm finding posts a year old and older that unvc is partnering with Amazon and going current? Like I said I'm new as of January so to me this has all been news for 7 months but now it doesn't seem so new to the longs. I know there are some differences like actual paperwork being done, but its all looking pretty familiar if you read back it's almost like you're reading recent posts. Not a negative post, just curious.
