8-12% fee based on the dollar amount of what you sold that day plus a credit card fee. Items sold outside of the show is 5%. In comparison, Amazon charges referral fees with most between 8% and 15% but some much higher.
Oh, and for the average seller, Amazon is not interactive.
What is cool is a seller really doesn't need a website, shopify site, etc since they can have their merchandise on the site always.
On one of the videos, Rory mentioned they can make money when someone wants an ongoing reoccurring time slot or a premium timeslot. I would imagine there are other ways as well.
Glad they are taking time to test it real well and learn as much as they can.
Once released, the market will do the math and figure $100M in sales translates to ~$10M in revenue. $1B in sales...
Institutions LOVE companies that get a slice of the pie. You know why? Because there is no ceiling. Oh and this pie will have super high margins.
