As I stated in a previous post, I am an investor because while I think his communications skills suck as a marketing 'genius', the products do not. So, I stay around for them, hoping they are still viable and I believe at the very least they have value.
And whether you agree or not, Joe has been his worst enemy when he has communicated, he has put out timelines that have not been met, inaccurate information, putting the burden on shareholders instead of making it the responsibility of the company to INFORM the shareholders of what is going on with the IPO, his words, not mine. You can state the case for Joe and I am not saying he is not doing great work BEHIND the scenes, but when he openly talks to shareholders and then he does not deliver to those shareholders in communications that is where the problem occurs.
I can understand delays, even things that are completely out of his hands. What I have problems with is commitments, or timelines or a dozen other things that happen and we have silence on, no explanation, just silence on. Not for days, or weeks, but sometimes, even months. That is what I find not acceptable. If you want people to invest in your company, you need to build trust. Putting out info then not following through or simply going silent is not a good way to bring in investors.
Hylander - I understand your frustration with "communication", but if Joe has nothing to share that furthers the process, why share it when it costs the company 20,000 shares of stock dilution? My point is if you have no faith that Joe is doing anything "behind the scenes" other than sitting around not communicating, then it's probably in your best interest to no longer be an investor. I believe Joe is doing everything he can control behind the scenes, so I remain positive about the prospects of the company - that is what makes a market. But in my mind, spending money to say "we're waiting on the FDA" or "China hasn't paid us this amount yet, but we are sure they are going to" isn't fiscally responsible right now. Both messages have little chance of increasing pps, and as I mentioned above, I think they might even do further damage.
