Re: electing Doc, RJS or somebody here to the BOD - to what end? At that point, they become an insider, and would be prohibited from sharing anything not already made public with this or any other group of shareholders. I don't think there has ever been a question about Joe/BOD not making decisions in the best interest of shareholders; the question has been why is this taking so long? Doc/RJS/Build or anybody else from this board on the BOD wouldn't be able to provide an answer to that question, so what is the benefit of having them serve?
Lastly, unless you bought IPO shares from the company, GNBT took none of your money. You traded those shares with somebody else, who may or may not have bought them from the company (probably not, however, since I can't remember the last time GNBT or NGIO made shares available to retail shareholders directly). Oasis is probably the only group that can make the argument, but they don't seem to care about the company - instead, they are the ones selling them immediately after securing them for their quick profit. So while you own a small percentage of the company as a shareholder, you really haven't given them any of your money which kind of makes the argument moot.
