I stopped at McDonalds a few weeks ago. I hadn't eaten fast food in two years. I was thinking Wendy's double classic but stopped at McD's instead. Was going to buy a quarter pounder when I saw the image of a double quarter pounder with cheese, so my temptations kicked in and I ordered one with a small for for a whopping $10.03 and it tasted like eggs. I couldn't believe the price or the flavor. First thing that came to mind was they must be paying $15.00 an hour for a fry cook that can't cook worth shit. They lost me as a customer.
Burger King has a double cheese burger with small fry for $4.08 and it tastes like beef, not eggs. Saved myself 6 bucks right there.
