New MyFlix Portal Signs Seven New Suppliers

MyFlix, the new multi-studio streaming venture developed by Hannover House, Inc. (OTC: HHSE) will launch with a record number of programming suppliers after signing up seven new commitments at the Cannes Film Festival, the company announced. The new production affiliates bring the total count of MyFlix suppliers to fifty with nearly twenty-thousand total titles being made available to the site.
"With the addition of these new suppliers to the venture, we think it's possible that MyFlix will have the largest library of accessible programming for consumers to stream," said Hannover House President & C.E.O. Eric Parkinson. "It has always been our goal to be the one-stop superstore for digital entertainment, and the abundance of titles will support that reputation."
MyFlix boasts a majority of independent studio suppliers, along with initial support from three of the U.S. Major studios for title availabilities upon the launch of the site and streaming service.
"For high-consumption viewers, it doesn't take long to reach fatigue with studio-specific services or even with Netflix," said Parkinson. "We see the current streaming industry as a reflection of the home-video marketplace thirty years ago. While the major titles got the initial consumer attention, it was the availability of a broader selection of videos that enabled the growth of retail giants such as Blockbuster to dominate the market. We think that the digital streaming market is now ready for a one-stop superstore such as MyFlix," he concluded.
Details of MyFlix suppliers, launch dates and streaming costs will be announced separately, beginning in August, said Parkinson.
"We are so honored to have the support of fifty supplier studios and film libraries," he said. "We feel that each supplier deserves their own announcement, and we will start disclosing this news through multiple press releases in August, along with the launch of consumer promotions for the site."
